Welcome! I’m Davi Pettit (they/them) and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) providing evidence-based psychotherapy to transgender, non-binary, gender-expansive teens and adults in California.

My practice focuses on gender-affirming mental health care, trauma-informed therapy, and identity exploration within a collaborative, compassionate therapeutic relationship. I work with adolescents and adults navigating gender identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and the impacts of societal and systemic stressors.

Therapy is a structured, confidential space to better understand yourself, develop emotional resilience, and build a life that feels more aligned and authentic. Much of how we relate to ourselves is shaped by gender norms, trauma, and lived experience. Psychotherapy can help you make sense of these influences and develop greater clarity, self-trust, and self-compassion.

My clinical approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), an evidence-based psychotherapy model that helps clients understand and transform inner patterns of distress. IFS recognizes that the mind is made up of different “parts,” each with a purpose, and that healing occurs when these parts are approached with curiosity, compassion, and respect. This work supports lasting change by strengthening your relationship with yourself and your inner world.

​​​Insurance:
I am paneled with Medi-Cal/Healthy SF, and I reserve a limited number of spots for folks with this insurance. If you're paying out of pocket I am able to provide a "Super Bill" for services, which is like a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance and you may be able to be partially or fully reimbursed. Please contact your insurance provider or your HSA/FSA providers to find out the percentage that they will be able to reimburse you for services.

Typical hours available are 10am- 6pm Monday- Thursday. Please contact me for specific times and to set up a consultation.

Payment can be easily made online with a credit card.
