Growing up internationally, I rarely saw people who embodied creative ways of stepping outside of the gender box. I knew transgender people existed, but I didn't personally know any (at least not that I was aware of), and I spent many years feeling like I was searching for something just out of reach.

I've always been deeply interested in identity, relationships, and the ways social expectations shape how we see ourselves. Finding queer community and working with queer providers was transformative for me, helping me feel more at home in my own skin.

I'm deeply grateful to the queer elders who helped pave that path, and I feel honored to be able to pass on that sense of possibility to others.
